1. 2003

   A foundation in IT systems electronics

   In 2003, Jan Crone began training as an IT systems electronics technician, laying the foundation for later work with IT systems, networks and digital solutions.

2. 2012

   Becoming self-employed

   The move into self-employment marked the beginning of Crone-IT. Personal advice and technical support have been central to the business ever since.

3. 2013

   Moving to Ricklingen

   Crone-IT moved to Hannover-Ricklingen in 2013. The district has been the company’s base ever since, without a retail shop or walk-in customer visits.

4. 2016

   Working with Ai-Lo

   Crone-IT has worked with Ai-Lo Computer & Service GmbH in Hanover since 2016.

5. 2018

   Adding Shopware

   Shopware expanded the portfolio with a further focus on building and supporting online shops.

6. 2022

   Ten years of Crone-IT

   The tenth anniversary marked a decade of continuing development and business growth.

7. 2023

   Adding JTL

   JTL became part of the range of supported shop systems.

8. 2024

   Exploring artificial intelligence

   AI became a further area of focus, with attention to useful applications and responsible use in everyday work.

9. 2025

   AI-assisted website development

   AI increasingly supports the website development process as a tool, guided by human design decisions, review and approval.

10. 2026

    A new bilingual website

    In 2026, Crone-IT created its new website with AI assistance. Services and references are now presented in German and English, with design, content and features personally reviewed and developed further.
